Some people claim to have a disc or VHS to a movie / TV show that they can't find any information online.

I'm wondering if (since it's out there and people forgot about it) it was lost media or forgotten media.

What exactly are you asking? If somebody stumbles across a piece of media that isn't online (or for sale anywhere online), then yes, I suppose it was lost media... but if there wasn't already a forum topic or an article for the media before it was found, then chances are it would no longer qualify for an article on the main site, based on the 4th article rule. That's not set in stone but it seems to usually be the case. Like that John Deere Day thing somebody posted about a while back.
