Ah, I never saw this! Sorry! Unfortunately no, I didn't, and I was very mad at myself for it. Luckily however, this alternate opening has since been released on Blu-ray, and we can now see it here, at the beginning of this fan edit!

I’m honestly surprised it’s been finally included on the Blu Ray, that version seems to be a Disney Movie Club exclusive.

I was surprised too! Never thought it would get an official release. Yep, it is.
