Greetings to all.
I am currently trying to write my Jumpstart Preschool and Kindergarten comparison review. It might take some time, especially since I will not be able to attach any images larger than 1 MB, which is the case with all of my images (and while I want to attach a personal drawing of a cover for the review, I do not know if it will be the appropriate size). As for writing the review, it is harder than I thought. My thoughts are very incoherent as usual, but what do you expect anyway from these two cartoons? Painfully bad animation, loopholes, incoherence on their behalf, overused transitions, and extremely shallow characters (more like stereotypes at best) are just some of the problems that I need to address-- and I really want to be humorous about it, too.
Before then, does anybody have any requests to review cartoons? I see them as challenges, and they help me form firm opinions. I prefer to focus on more obscure cartoons, though there are a few popular ones that I want to tackle as well. Here is my current list of upcoming reviews (some may take months, though):
Peppa Pig: The most popular cartoon planned for review here, I find this cartoon to be an utterly hilarious failure in an attempt to balance style and substance. I want to discuss its biggest flaws and propose a way in which it could be better.
1995 Arabic Dub of Doraemon: I made a post about this awhile back before deleting it. My thoughts were too incoherent and short-sighted, and I want to give this cartoon a proper impression. I will be discussing Arabic dubs in general and note the most prominent decisions made about this cartoon. I chose this in particular because unlike other dubs like Case Closed, there is no continuity between episodes. What I have to say will make the controversy about the 2016 dub being translated into a certain language for television look weak in comparison. On that note, I also wan to do...
Top 10 Best Arabic Dubs of Japanese Cartoons: I have a feeling that all of these entries will be from the 20th century.
Top 20 Worst Teletoon Shows: To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the network, I will be watching every original show and deciding the worst of the worst-- and when it comes to Teletoon, the worst of the worst are some of the worst pieces of animation ever made for mainstream television.
Zig and Sharko: Nobody really did this show justice despite being known by millions. I will be discussing it in relation to the company Xilam and the cat-and-mouse formula, as well as its amazingly strong sense of incompetence.
Top 10 Worst Cartoons Based off Video Games: Why not? There are some pretty bad ones.
I may need help with forming these reviews, though. I will let you know when I am having trouble. This is my first time doing them.
What do you request? Also, what do you think of my planned reviews? Do you have any recommendations for the lists? I have some entries planned for those lists already.
