For some reason Nicktoons likes to show Mighty B (at like 3 in the morning) and Fairly OddParents. When October rolls around (if we don't have these found by then) I could imagine a little Halloween throwback of at least those 2 shows. I don't think they've ever showed Fanboy and Chum Chum recently but don't quote me
This search is so interesting. I'm glad (and scared) that we found the thumbnails bc we have an idea of what we're looking for, but it also makes sleuthing in a dark room a harrowing experience. I'm looking now for any kind of mention of kids being scared, (cause you'd think they would be!) i.e., parent forums, youtube videos of someone potentially recording their tv (i often find things like these under titles like SCARY SPONGEBOB or something like that), i've scoured twitter and found two explicit mentions but no leads...i think there might be something to the cover-up element, even if it's mostly due to the fact that almost none of the characters are on tv today.
Now that we know what event these bumpers would have aired in, that makes the search a little easier! I'm gonna keep looking through bumper and commercial breaks to see if I can find anything!
Something else I just remembered: Has anyone thought of contacting Nick themselves? They'd have the master copies of the bumpers
The thing with contacting Nick is that they probably won't reply. I've tried to ask them about a few things before but they never replied to me ༼;´༎ຶ ༎ຶ༽

I feel like Nick themselves wouldn't just say "here are these bumpers we made". They probably have them in a vault next to the lost episode of iCarly where they reveal what the goat did /j
I feel like if you wanna contact anyone. You probably wanna contact people who worked on them instead of Nick themselves, since they are usually more willing to share info. (though just be aware you probably should in private, and shouldn't post their info here since we don't wanna get people harassed, ya know)

LSSQ has the info to contact animators who worked on the FOP and Fanboy and Chum Chum Zombified bumpers. Since they had portions of them in their demo reels, fingers crossed they have the full bumper, or at least the full animation. With some luck, they might have a lead on Mighty B or other potential bumpers, or at least an individual within Nick who handled commissioning the bumpers. I’m way too socially anxious to randomly contact people, so I’ll just leave that to the experienced lost media researcher.
A thought, has anyone tried searching YouTube or other video hosting for “Nick.com”? It just occurred to me that someone could’ve recorded the bumpers off of the site and figured they were an online exclusive or otherwise didn’t refer to them as bumpers or commercials.

I actually thought about that and tried to see if there was like a Nick.com fansite or something. Like a site that just mirrors Nick content in case the website goes down for whatever reason. Unfortunately i found nothing. A Nick.Com compilation might have them, though idk how many nick.com compilations exist since a lot of the sites content are either bumpers or clips from shows.

I had another idea that i wanna ask if anyone has tried yet. Has anyone tried using the Wayback Machine on other parts of the site during the time they would of been posted? Like using it on the videos section to see if you could find other zombified bumpers? I'm trying it myself and while i'm not really finding anything. If i find something i'll let you guys know. There is this Halloween section on the website that i think would work, however i think it's bugged on the Wayback Machine since it doesn't show clips besides the very top ones. So that might be a dead end.
Edit: Interestingly somethings on it seem to be what's on the nick site now which is weird. I went onto the videos section annndddd....
Lemmie tell you, my face when the Danger Force episode "An imposter among us" showed up was amazing

Yeah i have tried that in the hopes of stumbling on the infamous zombie Spongebob thumbnail, unfortunately all i found while going forward with the dates we're Bessie,Wanda and Fanboy and ChumChum
Although i stumble on something very interesting, this might be the zombified Spongebob they have used for the bumpers.I have found this on the Uk website btw

I saw that as well. but Unfortunately i think that's actually a completely separate case from this one. Since i think that's Nicktropolis Lost Media. I actually saw a lot of people in the comments of LSuperSonicQ's video mention that, so it's cool to find it. Though. I wouldn't be surprised if that's still at least the design concept used for zombified.
I'm saying that because the mummy costume the penguin is wearing is the same in one of the commercials/bumpers I saw so i thought maybe it was a similar case for Spongebob here.

I completely understand! It was just an idea I wanted to bring to the table lol.
Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if there was a Madagascar Penguin one as well. I mean with the picture I showed, he seems zombified as well when looking closer, plus the episode they aired that year was involved with zombies so it might be a clue.
