I'm looking through Nicktoons/Nickelodeon commercial breaks from 2011-2012 and I swear it feels like these only came one when no one is recording
EXACTLY! I forgot if i already asked this, but if there is anyone older in this tread that had more...sentience i guess during that time (since i was like 6 when it aired so i can't be an alibi for this). Were these aired very rarely? I feel like if they aired frequently we would of found one of these by now. Btw, this is a random sort of shower thought i had. Idk if this means anything for the search, but do you guys think these aired outside of the states? I tried seeing if i could find anything on the australian site (Probably not the videos. But to see if there is like a Spongebob thumbnail or something) but i came up with nothing.
I haven't had time to contact the animators yet but I'll do that in the next couple days, my only concern is I'll have to try and find contact for them elsewhere because the site with their animation reels isn't good for contacting.
Also I agree with what you guys have been saying, that it's weird we've found no evidence of the SpongeBob one yet. I thought it was weird the clip wasn't on the website along with the other ones but I guess I was thinking maybe it aired separately from the others? It could have been its own kind of thing, then Nick saw how popular it was and created the rest under the Zombified name.
I wasn't actively watching Nick in 2012 so I don't remember seeing these at all but when I contact the other animators they might have some more knowledge about how they aired or how many were made.

Personally, idk if that's it. The recounts of the spongebob shorts mentioned Patrick being in it i'm pretty sure. So to me, i think that makes it unlikely to be this one unless some extreme false memory stuff is happening.

I dunno, I feel it's a stretch to assume that people misremembered this specific bumper as a supposed "Zombified" bumper when those all aired in 2012. Also the fact that this specific one is not really remotely similar to the other bumpers remembered.
With that said, it is kinda weird how we have photo evidence for the other 3 bumpers, but SpongeBob has no trace anywhere. If it'd be anywhere, it'd be Nicktoons.com with the others, unless they just forgot to upload it or never got around to it.

2011 and 2012 would have been when I was watching Nicktoons the most, but I don't have any memory of these, (and I was a really anxious kid so I would have remembered lmao), so I definitely think they didn't come on very often (or maybe I watched less Nicktoons in October).

I was in high school at the time and watched Nicktoons, though only the FOP one seemed vaguely familiar when I saw the clip in LSSQ’s video. However, my tv had a DVR so it’s very possible I just skipped past the bumpers if I wasn’t watching live TV and I was skipping commercials, especially since I had zero interest in Mighty B or Fanboy and Chum-Chum.
As for SpongeBob, does anyone know of SpongeBob fan communities/forums that were popular at the time? I know people have browsed Twitter and Nick forums in general (and I even tried Tumblr), but we might have better luck on SpongeBob specific communities finding discussion on either SpongeBob Zombified or something else that fits the description of the alleged Zombified bumper
That's not a bad Idea. Though, we would have to do alot of digging to find anyone from around that time who were apart of those communities. But, it could work. We would prolly just have to find spongebob fansites dating back to 2012...Though, that's prolly easier said than done.

I'm going through them now to see what I can find. Of particular note so far, sbmania.net/ has a page for Spongebob-related clips, including bumpers, and a forum that apparently dates back to '04. The forum doesn't seem super easy to search, though, so I'll come back to it if I can't find anything on the other fansites.

SBMania? Damn, I had no idea that site was still even up! I feel this could be a potential good lead for at least the smallest confirmation of any SpongeBob "Zombified" shorts ever having existed.
I’ve never helped search for lost media, so I’m not sure the best placess to look or what is and isn’t helpful - so apologies if this isn’t helpful at all lol.
But Nickelodeon had a 10 nights of frights event during October of 2011, and the spongebob episode “ghoul fools” aired on the 21st of that month. Maybe if someone had recorded or filmed the premier of the episode they could’ve caught one of the Idents. This could also help us narrow down the time frame in which these idents were being aired - but I’ve seen “Hallowmean” used quite a bit too but haven’t had any luck on finding anything on that.

I'm new to this as well, but i think that's actually a decent idea
Theoretically there could be like a bootleg upload that has the commercials from the night it aired in it somewhere online since i feel like they wouldn't care enough to edit them out. If not. Someone probably recorded the episode on a...VCR? DVD? Idk what was used in like 2011 for that type of stuff once again i was like 6. But either way, someone had to have recorded it and probably captured at least one of them by complete accident. I feel like if they aired at any point. It would *have* to be during the 10 nights of frights.
Btw. This is complete guesswork but i would assume the 10 nights of fright ended directly on Halloween. If it's 10 nights. I'm pretty sure that narrow it down to between the 21st and 31st of October 2011. Once again, this is complete guesswork. But i think it's worth noting.
