Just wanna know if anyone in here watches the YouTube channel Siivagunner. Essentially he uploads edits of video game music with various things in them. Stuff like We are Number one and The Nutshack became popular through him.

So, at the risk of being virtually lynched by some of the more normiephobic, for lack of a better word, fans of the channel, I'd like to start a thread here dedicated to anything and everything Siivagunner. So go ahead, run wild in the reply section!

I actually had two rips on the channel a while back (i doubt anyone will get the second one though):

I submitted more than that but those were the only two that got accepted... i blame the superman 64 rip for ruining my chances of getting any more on there, apparently the inbox got so flooded they essentially just stopped checking it

Otherwise yeah been a fan since before the first channel got closed (the night the first album was released to be exact), neat stuff. I prefer the classic rips but maybe that's just me (vols. 1 and 3 are my favorite of the albums). Here are some of my favorite classic rips since that were big at the time but seem to have been forgotten since the advent of WANO and the channel's mainstream attention:

EDIT: Oh yeah fun fact, i was the one who painstakingly entered the first 15 albums on the Discogs page. Maybe some day I'll get around to doing the rest of them (once he started releasing 5 albums a week i was sort of just like "fuck this")

The Parappa gamma mixes, I'd personally say, are some of the best work to come from the channel. I'd loved the songs from parappa beforehand, but rips like this one made me fall in love with them all over again.

So you may not get the joke, but this is a KK Slider cover of the 1996 Jamiroquai song "Virtual Insanity". I used to have the CD of the song and id listen to it several times. It's a pretty well done cover Imo.

I love me some Gorillaz, and Gorillaz themed rips are no exception. The songs of these two rips are from Plastic Beach, essentially the album where they reinvented their sound. (Not like they'd really had one to begin with tho)

This one isn't really a Siiva rip, but it's quality nevertheless. Again, it's a parappa Mashup, but it's again just as quality as his gamma mixes. And, if you listen close enough, you'll actually hear a triple Mashup! (Not gonna spoil it here tho)

So when I was younger, I loved the shitime out of They Might be Giants. And the somg heard in this rip, "Dead" was always my favorite. Was probably partially contributed to by Steve Burns, of Blue Clues fame, performing a cover of it, and I saw that as a way that he was Repaying Giants for performing on his show, but im going off topic.

I may post some other favorites later. But yeah, I think we can all agree Siiva was one of the best things to happen to 2016.
