Hey everyone, I've got something that's been bugging me, and a few others, for ages.
When I was little, the show Ben 10 premiered in 2005. The show is about a young kid named Ben Tennyson, who can transform into 10 different aliens using a watch that came from space.
To get kids interested in the show, Cartoon Network premiered a series of ads directed towards each of the 10 transformations that Ben could transform into. One of the aliens was "Ghostfreak", a grey, ghost-like alien with a purple eye and black lines - "track marks" - along his body. He could turn invisible and intangible, and when he did, most of the times his color was inverted instead of being pure invisible, with his grey body becoming a dark grey, and the black lines becoming white.
The commercial takes place in a convenient store/grocery store, with Ben turning into Ghostfreak so that when he drinks an orange soda, you can see the soda inside his stomach. Ben even shouts out "I can see my soda!".
I've been searching for this commercial for a long time, and through many years of searching, there's been no trace of it. It wasn't a toy commercial, and the commercial first aired in the U.S. (as the show premiered later in other countries, some versions of other commercials have surfaced from 2007-2008, but I have not found it in these either). There are also a plethora of commercials for Ben 10 and the Ben 10 franchise, so it's incredibly difficult in sifting through them all to just find this one commercial, which seemingly has no presence anywhere on the internet, and are lost to time.
Here's a thread I made for it on the r/lostmedia subreddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/lostmedia/comments/ekehgr/looking_for_an_old_and_lost_ben_10_commercial/
Here's another thread, with someone else searching for it: https://www.reddit.com/r/lostmedia/comments/le3xbd/old_ben_10_commercial_of_ghostfreak_drinking_soda/
Another from him, as you can see - he's been searching for it for a long time: www.reddit.com/r/Ben10/comments/bcnv6q/looking_for_old_2005_ben_10_commercial/
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
