This is an IFC sitcom that ran from 2007-2008 for 2 seasons of 8 episodes. Season 1 is available on an out-of-print DVD and not too hard to find from resellers.
Episodes 11-13 are available on YouTube but for some reason they're in 4:3 and not the original broadcast ratio of 16:9. The remainder of Season 2 is nowhere to be found.
There are also a lot of other IFC originals that are basically impossible to find (the series finale of Out There, The Business)
It's a single-camera comedy about two sarcastic, embittered women in the film industry who aspire for success but are bogged down by their self-loathing and hedonistic tendencies (This show earned its TV-MA). The people around them, successful or not, are no better in personality, since this is Hollywood after all. Episode plots usually revolve around the two attempting to achieve financial or romantic success only to be met with failure.
I've only seen the three episodes on YouTube thus far, but it's hilarious if you're into cynical comedy like Louie or Peep Show. Fair warning, it's pretty NSFW at times.
Something worth noting is that the entire series was once available on both iTunes and Netflix but has long since been pulled. This is also the case for many other IFC shows like the ones I've mentioned above and Whitest Kids U Know (ugh).
Bumping a year old thread that nobody gave a shit about for a lost show nobody gave a shit about. Didn't even have an article
Anyways, it's been found! My method of finding it was so fucking easy it hurts... and now I know this one could've been solved in 2015. Damn that one hurts.
Unfortunately, I've been instructed to not share links here or anywhere, but keep your eyes on MySpleen over the next week or two (as soon as I leave college for the summer). This show is fucking UPROARIOUS.
