I recently recalled a memory from my youth. I had been sitting in class, I'd guess around the third grade would be when this had happened. The teacher decided to put on this "story" for us. I almost want to describe it as a children's podcast, but this was like 2008-9 so those weren't really a thing yet. I also believe it was either on a CD or possibly a cassette (Newer catholic school that was literally being taught in a building without proper heating directly under a church, very little budget)... At the very least it was painfully 90's sounding.
The audio had this female narrator describing the story, about a bunch of dinosaurs who went to school. Her tone was about as condescending as you'd expect for this kind of media. The main dinosaur was basically the coolest kid in school... There was this T-Rex character who was newer to the school, and all the other dinosaurs were afraid of him because he looked scary. The T-Rex was sad about this, and naturally rapped about his feelings. Yes, Really. Then during recess, the main kid accidentally hits the T-Rex with a basketball during a game with his friends. Everyone basically thinks the T-Rex is gonna murder this kid. But he apologizes and him and the T-Rex are homies now and rap about how they have more in common then they do differences and that you shouldn't judge someone based on appearances. I think at one point the T-Rex said he didn't like broccoli, but the other dinosaur who I think was a herbivore mentioned that he did.
I cannot find it anywhere online, It's been driving me crazy all week. I'd appreciate it if people could give any answers.
