In the early 2010s, I remember seeing this one music video on TV which I have been thinking about recently.
The music video was from an indie rock band. It was animated in 3D but in a way that looked like a student film. The creator of the music video said it didn't cost him anything to make because he made it during an animation class he took in college.
The animation features a girl (with black hair) and a cat (maybe white) who hate each other. The song lyrics are about how much they don't like each other. Every so often the will be a cut to the band play the music (also animated).
The style of the animation was very simple with the cat almost looking like a ball. The girl has a very large head. And the band members were very stylized.
The clip of the artist talking about the music video came from a show that talked about budgets on indie music videos. I don't really remember the name but it is possible I saw it on MYX. The aesthetics of the show was very similar to Vinyl Addiction
