Would it be possible for the admins to include a link to the Rules, Guidelines and Tips page on the Create account page? Frankly, I'm tired (and I believe other serious LMW users are too) of seeing rookies commiting the same mistakes over and over, which shows that they likely never read the guidelines on what kind of content is acceptable and eligible for articles.
Make it so they must read the rules and accept them if they want to join the site. Even if they just ignore it and mark the 'accept' box anyway, the mods don't need to hesitate to drop the banhammer on repeat offenders, as those users accepted the rules that they were supposed to read.
