Back in the year 2000, the now-defunct Schnapps drink brand, known as Metz; created a series of slightly unsettling TV commercials, using a creepy puppet character known as the “Judderman”.
These commercials were mostly done in live-action; using small wooden marionettes, while a female narrator would eerily whisper to the viewer to “Beware the Judderman, when the moon is fat” right after whispering an ominous poem.
Since the company behind this series of commercials has been defunct for years; not long after 2000, very few of them have resurfaced online; in terms of actual footage.
In total on YouTube, I managed to find 4 of the commercials with a quick search. Two of them were advertising regular Metz, while the other ones were advertising different types of the drink. One known as Metz “Storm”, and the other for a version known as Metz “Still & Black”.
