It was banned from re-airing on PBS due to complaints at the time regarding the lesbian couple that was shown.

Parents at the time didn’t think it was appropriate to show their children those topics.

Yeah, as others said it was taken out of airings due to there being a lesbian couple. It's kind of funny looking back on things to see how far we've come since then and how marriage equality was such a huge button topic in the mid-2000s.
