When I was a young man public PCs were still a relatively new concept. As such, my first grade class was taken to the local library to be taught the basics in using computers. I vaguely remember the computer lab being darkened with just the screens being lit, and when we booted up the computers there was a video that played for us featuring a live action Wizard helping to introduce the various concepts of using a computer, such as opening and closing programs, where the menus are, etc. I remember this being real because all my life after that I'd always remember the memory afterward every time I used an installation "wizard" on the PC, however, I've been unable to find anyone who can confirm that they've witnessed something similar or that such a program existed. I lived in a very remote town that couldn't have budgeted for such a production to be put on our PCs, so I always figured this program was more widespread, but I can't find videos or copies of said program or even similar anecdotes of a shared experience.

Any help on this would be appreciated.
I recall something like this...are you sure it was live action? Because I can remember a kind of Clippy/Bonzi Buddy type thing, but honestly the name escapes me.

Hi, thanks for your reply, and apologies that this one is so late.
According to my memory, which is all I have to go on, this would be older than the Microsoft Agents programs, which were introduced with Windows 98. I can't even remember if we were using Macintosh computers or Windows PCs, but I remember it was an FMV Wizard that played atop your desktop, showing you the basics of computer use as opposed to just Office Assistant agents.
