I had this vague memory of a beverage that i drank on my childhood for about 3 years now, and i finally decided to post it here upon discovering what is lost media.
So, a little backstory:
I have an interesting image burnt into my head for about 3 years, it was a sort of soda or juice that came in a red can and a green can, those being two different flavors, that i didn't remember the name of. I asked my brother about this and he gave me some data, and/or possible leads about this product.
Here are some of the facts i could gather of this "mysterious juice":
-The name is unknown.
-There were three flavors: "goMan" (Mango), "saFre" (Fresa, strawberry), "naManza"? (I'm not as sure on this one, but it's "Manzana", the spanish word for apple, this flavor being especificly green apple). Each one of them having the singularity of a badly written name, and also the cans being a solid color, Yellow, Red, and Green respectivly, with no decoration or design. Also, according to my brother, the cans were short, like some energy drinks, but i remember them being full size so i'm not actually sure on that one.
-It had a white font that had an "urban" vibe to it. Maybe it was meant to be "weird", "edgy" or "ugly". If i had to guess, based on my memory, i would say the type face is pretty similar to the one used in the first Corus Entertainment logo.
-I'm from Mexico, so the product may have been only available on that country, or maybe, i'm not sure, could have been distributed to other parts of Latin America, but i'm from Mexico, and i bought it there, so it's more possible it being from Mexico. (And i'm not sure of other countries anyway so...).
-It advertised on Nickelodeon, circa 2010 to 2012, because i was very young at the time. It also possibly was during holiday season or a similar period, because when me and my family got back to my grandma's house, there were christmas lights on her house, but they didn't take those lights of until like 5 or 3 years ago, i can't remember exactly, so it may have been sooner or later than holiday season.
-There was a commercial and a contest. I can't recall anything about the commercial in specific, but i remember hip-hop inspired music, people jumping over stuff, and it being animated on 3d. But the commercial apparently also talked about a contest of recolecting cans to win a prize, which might have been the reason we bought the juice thing.
-We had the cans for a while, but then we disposed of them.
I am trying to see Nick commercial breaks from the era, but can't seem to find Mexican-especific feeds, it's alway just "Nick Latin America" so i guess i have to work with what i have at the moment. Also, i'm not sure if it advertised on other channels as i recall only seeing it on Nick, so if that dosen't work, i'll move on to CN and then Disney. I think this search is better if you understand spanish, but it's not necessary. Knowing the name of this product is the priority, because from there we can find more material about this "Juice thing".
I hope that we can find this intersting case of lost media, so i can at the same time have an emotional closing on this memory XD.
