When I was younger I vividly remember watching a stop motion animation on YouTube which I can’t seem to find anymore. To give more background it was back in 2011 or 2012, in October (if I remember correctly), and my dad first got his iPhone 4 which I remember using non-stop with my siblings watching a bunch of animation on the YouTube app. One of the animations I remember (which is the topic of this) is a stop motion music video featuring a mother rabbit and her kit (aka a baby rabbit if I remember correctly). In the animation (as far as I can remember) the mother is taken by a flying saucer which later (at the end of the music video) unites them back together at a picnic, underneath a lighted up tree, with a cake on the picnic table with lighted candles. The style of the animation was arts and crafts (so the rabbits were made out of some fluffy material) and the singer of the song was a woman.
Any help would be nice, as I’ve been searching for this for years and found no leads.
Here are some drawings I did of the characters and scenes from what I remember (hope this helps).
I don’t remember any lyrics, but I do remember (which this part is stuck in my head) was the flying saucer swinging back and fourth (as shown in the drawing) with the singer dragging out a singing line of “wahoo”
More info I just found. I found the receipt my dad have for the iPhone 4 and it said it was bought on 11/16/10 (2011, October 16). Not sure if this will help but searching between those years could help, also I could be wrong but I think the video was trending in animation (as I remember seeing it on the front page of the app, probably recommended?). Also I’m a bit iffy on this but it probably was a commercial or an award winning video (again I’m not so sure about this detail but it probably was posted by those award winning animation channels). Hope this will help.
Hi, I don't know if you're still looking for this, but I might have found a lead.
I stumbled across the youtube channel, Rochester's Animation Workshop, which is a program dedicated to students 9 years old and up to teach them how to animate. I noticed that there are a lot of videos made in a paper cut out style, and several of them star rabbits. So maybe the video you're looking for is there?
