I created a thread which someone responded to but I didn't get a notification. I looked at the notification settings in "edit my profile," and "participated" has the settings turned on. Why didn't the reply appear as a notification? How would I get it to appear?

There's a button that says "Participated". This button will have "New" written next to it when there's any new posts in the threads.
