The show is basically about this women who lives in a house by herself. Sometimes her non-human friends come over and they dance or whatever. The main part of the show though is always her going into her closet and doing weird things in there. She also has this owl she lives across from so whenever she opens her window she greets him and stands by the window. They talk for a while until they say their goodbyes. I believe the owl has glasses but I’m not sure.
This is all I can remember from watching the show as a kid.

I’m 19 as of writing this but I’m not sure at what age I watched this. I had to be in elementary for sure though (possibly preschool as well).
Do you remember what country you would have watched this in, or what channel it might have been on?
A mixture of live action actors with a puppet owl makes me think a little of Greenclaws, which features an owl (Alma) who lives in a tree that has a cupboard in it, where special plants are grown; each episode also features a single woman who comes over to visit. But you'd probably have remembered the main character (a green monster called Greenclaws) if it was that show!

Damn naw, it sadly is not greenclaws...
I’m from the U.S. though and they all spoke fluent English. It could’ve been dubbed over but who knows. And the channel...It was either Qubo, TCT kids, or pbs kids. Those are the only channels i viewed as a child.
Oh and the owl in this one also lived in a tree! He’d stick his head out the hole and liked to read lol.

It's not an owl, it's a bat, but that sounds kind of like Eureka's Castle.

Sorry for such a late reply but it’s sadly not that show either. I remember the protagonist of the show being distinctly human. The host, who’s female, would interact with different puppets in her room and then usually go into her closet to explore.
I’m now remembering more of the closet itself. I believe it was purple with huge yellow doors. The whole thing being large as well cause she would get in it.
