I believe this aired somewhere between the late 2000s and early 2010s. It would come on in between shows sometimes. My memory is pretty hazy, but hopefully it's enough to remind someone else.
The short featured a group of socks (or sock puppets?) moving around like inchworms when no one else was around. I think they came out of a sock drawer. I also recall a scene in a laundry room, where they possibly leapt off a shelf into the washer.
I think the art style used real photographs, and to animate the socks you could see they were just switching between a few frames. It was kind of like stop motion, in that everything looked jerky.
Unfortunately, I don't think so. I did have some doubts about this being on Nickelodeon, but it must have aired there seeing they made other shorts about sentient socks
