Keedz is a musical project of a group of young French singers who release songs as a choir accompanied by electro-disco-dance influences. Mostly known for their track "Stand on the Word" as well as "Stand on the Word (Mima Version)". They released their first and only album back in 2008 called "Stand on the Word" which included 11 tracks. They have not put out anything since then, however, most of the tracks have become unavailable on the internet. All the tracks I could find are as listed:
- Stomp
- Love Is All
- Praises
- Destiny
- World Old On
- Stand on the Word 1982
Now these are only ones that have a re-upload on youtube, albeit in lesser audio quality. This is only 6/11 of the tracks listed in the album. The ones missing are as followed:
- Stand on the Word (Mima Version) (?)
- Crazy
- Wade in the Water (?)
- Clap On
- Can You Feel It
For "Stand on the Word (Mima Version)", perhaps their most known song, there is a 3:25 radio edit version which is the one used in the music video. However, on Discogs (https://www.discogs.com/Keedz-Stand-On-The-Word/release/4647375) , there is a 12' vinyl which actually includes a 4:31 version of this song! A full minute and 6 seconds more! I'm not sure if this was exclusive to the vinyl but it does include both the supposed extended version and the radio edit. There is also only 2 vinyls left on discogs and only one is available to be shipped to the US. For Wade in the Water, on their MySpace (https://myspace.com/keedzmusic/music/songs), the track is actually to a YouTube video named "Made In The Water (Ledhead Remix)" implying this is only a remix and not the actual song done by Keedz. As for the rest of the songs, I have not been able to find any of them anywhere. What used to be a huge hit song a decade ago is now extremely obscure. I hope by posting here, other people can take interest in finding these songs.
