I'm a huge cartoon nerd with way too much time on my hands. Any recommendations for good shows? Any hidden gems I've never heard of? Leave 'em all here
I enjoyed My Life as a Teenage Robot. It's a pain to get the DVDs for it though. If you haven't seen Teen Titans yet, you should probably fix that. Is there anything in particular you're looking for? The Legend of Zelda cartoon isn't great, but I watched it for a laugh.

Little Star, Kitty Kats, alot of retro treehouse tv and pbs kids stuff
I rise from the ashes. Only to fall back in again.
I'm a big Adult Swim fan (the original series, not the seth macfarlane reruns), some of my favorite cartoons from them are: -Aqua Teen Hunger Force (first 3 seasons especially) -Space Ghost Coast To Coast -Harvey Birdman: Attorney At Law (though i still need to watch the 3rd season) -Perfect Hair Forever (I loved this one so much I actually spent a few days making my own homemade DVD for it since it never got an official one) -12 Oz Mouse (I've only seen like half of it but it was amazing) -Rick And Morty (of course. i also need to catch up on this one too)
I'm also in the process of catching up on Adventure Time (though I'm sure that one needs no introduction), and once I'm done with that I'll start Steven Universe.
An anime about a hotblooded high school student, Hanamichi Sakuragi, who discovers basketball and progressively gets better... but contrary to many shonen heroes, he does not prove to be a sudden expert. He shows to have some potential, but along the way, he also has to learn some lessons such as patience, perseverance, humility and control.
The anime makes even friendly basketball games epic, without resorting to many cheap tricks. As Sakuragi learns basketball, the viewer also learns along with him. You thought sports were boring? This will renew your interest!
This anime also has a lot of humorous moments, usually from Sakuragi himself, who tends to be quite immature and not take things seriously at times. There are also some violent action parts, but they are executed awesomely.
I discovered this anime when I was 15... when I discovered subbed anime instead of the dubbed-censored ones I was used to in my childhood... great times... (along with the Ah! My Goddess OVA, El-Hazard and Edens Bowy...)
If you haven't seen it, I'd recommend checking out The Pirates of Dark Water. I only discovered it a few years back, but I really like it. It's such a shame, the show was canned before reaching its natural conclusion, so the end leaves much to be desired. Still, it's definitely worth checking out.
Recently I discovered this show that was on Disney XD I think, it's called "Jimmy Two-Shoes". I think a lot of people have heard of it. I want to hate it so bad but it's just one of those shows you have to love. It's pretty funny, too.
I'm also a huge sucker for Invader ZIM, The Angry Beavers, Dan Vs, and Pepper Ann (hence my profile pic).
Gravity Falls is a good show to watch, and Steven Universe too (The commercials make it look like it only appeals to your 5 year old cousin, but the show is muck darker than that. ).
Also as johnhall777 said, The Simpsons is a good show, especially the earlier seasons.
I have hacked into the government data base, and here's what it said. Iguanas are actually controlled by goldfish. You see, when they are very young, they eat a goldfish, but the goldfish stretches their fins to the top of the iguanas brain and transports their brain through their fins to the iguanas brain and take control over it.
