Sharing this post by theCarbonFreeze on a proposed measure in the 116th Congress of the United States called "Protecting Lawful Streaming Act of 2020", which as she discussed has consequences for media preservation. Here are my questions regarding the bill. I'd appreciate responses since I am not American:

1. Was it passed during that Congress?

2. What is the final wording of the law as passed?

3. If it was not passed into law during that Congress, has it been refiled in the present (117th) Congress?

4. To clarify, what bill does the post mentioning Harvard law professor Jonathan Zittrain's analysis refer to? It doesn't seem to be the "Protecting Lawful Streaming Act of 2020" proposal.

Ah yes, this is the reason why I don't bother disputing my copyright claimed videos that are based on Japanese media (ShoPro in specific). Fair Use doesn't exist there, so it is a losing battle.
Still a shame that some videos are falsely claimed

Your suggestion, sadly, does not address the issue on copyright, it just circumvents (or goes around it). The copyright owner could still have them get taken down. Note that many countries, including Asia, are bound by treaties (international agreements) on copyrights. If the copyright owner demands that their work be taken down (even if it is the only available copy online), they will prevail.
