Hi! Do you know what language it was in? I found a wikipedia article listing all the animated television shows about dogs here. It would help to know what language it was in so we can narrow down the search a bit. It could also be a film too so here's a list of animated films about dogs here.
Also to clear things up: was the dog anthropomorphic or bipedal(for example, like the animals in Zootopia or Bugs Bunny) or was he just like a normal dog?
