I played the Star Wars kinect game. The critics hated it, but it wasn't that bad. Sure it wasn't anything special, but I had fun playing the game where you're playing as a kaiju monster and the whole game was you destroying cities as a kaiju monster. That could of been a game of its own if it had a lot more content to it. I'm suprise that they didn't do anything games like that with Godzilla or an original series.
Not sure if "classic," but tons of licensed games. Generic platform game, generic RPG, generic sim game? I was 11, I didn't care! One off the top of my head was Doug's Big Game for the GBC. Sure I didn't play it much beyond the initial playthrough but I liked it!

I enjoyed that game though I mostly played the campaign.
I played Fusion Frenzy on the Xbox with my family a lot, but I later learned it was criticized for being a subpar Mario Party knockoff. Admittedly, it kind of is, but we still had a lot of fun with it.
I also played the 2000s weird 3D reboot of Breakout on PC and really enjoyed it. It had a PS1 port, but I've heard it really suffered from not being mouse controlled.
I remember a Gamestop in a mall had a demo for Fusion Frenzy, I tried it out and had a bit of fun but it didn't make me want to run and get an Xbox, I remember reading a review for the sequel in Gameinformer where they absolutely trashed it and I was surprised by how harsh the reviews were.
I played both Bubsy games on Genesis(they were among several games I inherited from my older cousin as a kid, RIP Jackie)and enjoyed them and was very surprised to see how many people hated them and said they were among the worst games ever(I definitely don't agree with that at all except for 3D which did suck pretty hard).

I only know that game for the bad Dance Central clone that was in it that had Star Wars-themed parodies of popular songs at the time. Oh, and this JonTron clip.
Maybe not necessarily a classic, but Ultraman: Toward The Future for the SNES is a mostly bad game that I thoroughly enjoyed back when it was first released. My brother and I would rent it a ton from the local video rental store in the small town we lived in at the time, and spend weekends beating the crap out of each other in the game, as well as watching each other beat the single-player story mode multiple times.
Even back then, I knew it just wasn't a good game, and reviews from over the years to current day have all been pretty much universal with similar opinions to mine. At the time, it was more just playing with my brother that kept me playing more than the boring and dumb single-player story mode. Today, though, it's mostly nostalgia that has me playing it at least once a year, for old time's sake.
I know you're only talking to keep the silence out Maybe you should listen and leave some room for doubt You're just handing out bad reputations Why don't you shut your mouth? -Motorhead, "Overnight Sensation"

Fun fact this actually started out as a Kinect dance game but after Dance Central happened they decided to retool it into a Star Wars game and put in a bunch more modes.
Ugh not really into Jontron, never thought he was that great and after he spouted his racist crap(and never apologized for it)several years ago I was glad I never jumped onboard the bandwagon with him.

Same here, I have SO many movie/show/whatever tie-in games for my DS and Wii that I got as a kid. I remember getting a DS Lite for Christmas (around 2008 I wanna say) and the Kung Fu Panda game was my first-ever DS game. Recently replayed it and it's not that bad for a movie tie-in game, just a lot easier than I remember. I'm actually suprised my DS Lite still works after all these years, my DSi is on the verge of kicking the bucket haha
