What's everyone's thoughts on the Animaniacs reboot?
I've been binge watching it today while working on some projects and I have to say im very pleasently surprised, they managed to capture the style and comedy of the original show aswell as updating it to the modern day.
I'm currently on the 4th episode and enjoying it greatly.
The joke about Whacko being non binary was also a pleasent surprise.

I am more pessimistic on this. It, like most reboots, missed the entire point. Original Animaniacs was a love letter to the Marx Brothers, Looney Tunes and Tex Avery.
The reboot is a love letter to itself that shoehorns in jokes. This was made for millennials who remembered animaniacs.
I enjoy the reboot quite a bit. I'm kinda sad they got rid of the other characters, but I do understand why they did. They needed to streamline the stories more as a whole, and I think fitting the others would be hard to do right now.

The new jokes don't bother me tbh. But Pinky and the Brain seems exactly the same in my opinion, except I feel like it's shorter.
