When I was a kid, I wasted hours playing flash games in the internet. One day, I stumbled upon a strange game I still vaguely remember.
The game was a 2D platformer, and maybe a shooter, but don't quote me on that. The first level consisted of a zoomed-in stock photo of a happy family on a white background. The miniature player character was inside a bubble or forcefield, and you could jump onto the family's heads and hands as platforms. At the end of the level, you entered someone's ear.
The next stage was a passageway that I assume was the ear canal. The scenery was fleshy and red, like the inside of the human body. This time, the level wasn't a photo, and the game started using assets of its own, but I think it still used realistic textures or photos for some things. The game's first enemies appeared in this level, and though I can't remember exactly what they looked like, I think they were weird, floating "cells" without limbs or facial features.
My memory of the game is vague after this point. I think the game dropped the "fleshy" look after a while, but the game's design became increasinly nightmarish and surrealistic. I remember an enemy that looked like a grey, edited photo of a person that moved really fast.
I believe the game's strangeness was intentional. It could even have been a "joke" game, considering its use of stock photos and nonsensical plot/design.
Has anyone played this game? I have spent all day trying to find it, and I haven't exactly succeeded. There's not a lot of keywords I can use to search for it. I probably played it around 2006-2009.
