This commercial played on Lite FM in Chicago for 3-4 years, at least during Christmas time (which is usually the only time of year I ever listen to the radio). It was definitely being broadcast as of 2018, but I never heard it last year. It became something of a joke within my family. The first part, which I’ve memorized completely, goes as follows:
Waving to someone, then realizing you don’t know them. Embarrassing. Walking into a screen door at a large party. Embarrassing. Talking to your doctor about your poop? Come on, he’s your doctor. He’s heard it all before. So don’t keep a lid on it.
Googling the speech itself finds several people online complaining that they hate the commercial, while searching identifyepi.com in videos finds several videos, all unrelated to this specific commercial and mostly informational in nature. There’s actually quite a bit of talking after the part I transcribed, also mostly informational. It’s probably a couple minutes long. I actually recorded this off the air with an auxiliary cable from my boom box to my laptop, but I’ve since broken the laptop, and the quality was fuzzy anyway. I could try contacting the site, I guess, but I kind of doubt that would help.
