The more I look into the content 4Kids produced the more surprised I am to see that so much of it was either unreleased or saw such a limited release the majority of it is still missing.
The best example I can think of when it comes to this is the F-Zero GP Legend Dub. I talked to the voice actor of Captain Falcon years ago and he claimed the whole series was dubbed. However there only exists one DVD release that's extremely hard to find and only half of the series was reuploaded to YouTube.
I'm pretty sure some of their One Piece dub is unavailable or hard to find and someone also messaged me a while ago about Viewtiful Joe. The series got plenty of DVD releases in Japan but the English episodes didn't.
I think that's a really difficult piece of 4Kids searches to overcome, it's not a matter of finding DVDs it's a matter of finding out who has the rights to some of these shows and hoping for a complete series rerelease.
F-Zero's likely got lost episodes given only 15 ran in the U.S. The entire show seems a bit much, but I can easily see at least 26 having been recorded. It also ran in New Zealand, but I haven't been able to find TV listings with episode names.
AFAIK, all of their One Piece dub has been accounted for.
What episodes of Viewtiful Joe are missing? KidsWB ran 26 episodes, which is the same amount Geneon (it wasn't a 4Kids title) released on DVD. Those discs aren't penny cheap, but they're not comically expensive either. Has there been something to suggest they dubbed the back half?
The only thing thats "lost" with the Viewtiful Joe anime is the English version of the "and you" ending full theme. Some of it can be heard in the Spanish dub version of the ending, but it was not fully released. The uploads on YouTube are not correct since the CD that was released here put the Japanese version of the song twice on it. Think of this situation like the full version of look alike from the sonic the movie never being fully released until recently. Yeah, for the most part, Geneon dubbed 26 episodes and nothing afterwards. I do remember seeing prototype toys for hulk Davidson and fire Leo for the jazzwares toyline at toyfare online but those pictures seem lost now.
F-Zero 4kids dub is a mess. They skipped episodes and ended at 26 produced episodes based on research I've done with a 4kids licensing catalogue saying they produced 26 episodes and the cartoon gamers YouTube interview with Dave Wills(falcons actor) saying he voiced a scene from a very later episode that didn't it's English dub did not air.

What hard to find DVD release are you talking about for the fzero dub?
This is the F-Zero DVD I was talking about, it's very rare and I'm not sure if anyone even knows how it was released. The Limited Edition text at the top might not be for show, this might have actually been a promo item or something similar.
And I might be wrong about the Viewtiful Joe stuff, I just remember getting a message once about how the series was lost because there were no DVD releases so I looked on YouTube quickly and didn't see a whole lot saved. But with F-Zero I remember specifically asking Captain Falcon's voice actor about the Falcon Punch scene and he claimed it was dubbed. I suppose 4Kids could have cut the series around and placed the Falcon Punch scene in an earlier episode but I really thought I had specified "the rest of the series" in my tweet to the voice actor.
That's a bit odd since 4kids dub of f zero seems to end with the episode where falcon reveals his identity to that Clank/Tech kid character which makes sense since the cartoon gamers YouTube interview with Dave Wills(falcons actor) says this..
That's interesting. Given the lack of a named distributor (4Kids didn't do home video in-house) I've got to assume that was some kind of promotional release. Maybe as part of a review kit for the GBA game? It is weird there are no markings to indicate that, though.
It uses the colorful 4kidstv logo that didn't get used till 2005. The later half of the dub uses the colorful 4kids logo while the beginning of the uses the classic 4kids logo during the ending. The GP legend game came out in 2004. How is the game anyway?
There was also a Kirby episode rerun airing that had a RIP Maddie Blaustein sign off and their was a live action voice saying goodbye to the 4kidstv era and telling people to switch to the cw4kids channel that's lost.
I asked about the fzero DVD from an eBay seller and they said it's from a Nintendo power contest. Anyone want to go find that contest in the magazine?
I've become strangely interested in this F-Zero search, even though I know the topic of this thread isn't really about F-Zero.
I went back to check the auction to see what the copyright date was and apparently someone bought it, which is interesting because I posted it on Twitter so I wonder if it's one of my followers. As for the date though, the back of the case said 2005 and I did a Google search for F-Zero GP Legend mentions in Nintendo Power and apparently there are some details about the game in issue 185
I don't have this issue and couldn't find a scan of it online but if someone can look through it they might find a mention of the DVD or contest as claimed by the eBay seller.
I've been collecting various magazines from back in the day that talk about the 4kids Tiga dub and it's info hasn't been widespread posted online. One article mentioned that Saban of power rangers fame was trying to bring Ultraman to the limelight but Tsuburaya couldn't come to agreement with them. I hope the Nintendo power trivia contest can be found for fzero. I stinks that 4kids never uploaded all their fox box bombs on their streaming service before there licenses ran out. Thankful they did that with their magical doremi dubs 2nd half otherwise that would've been lost unreleased media too.
I've done more digging on old posts about the missing episodes. In episode 2, Munakata calls Tiga the Giant Purple-Red Pajama Man of Destiny. The Halloween episode has cavity jokes and the witch wants the kids brainwaves not their dreams.
