Hi there, first time poster and kinda-long(ish) time lurker here. I'm still not too familiar on the whole netiquette about posting here, so if I'm going off topic or if I should start another thread elsewhere just tell me.
I'm here with a couple informations regarding the English Dub of the 2001 version of Cyborg 009 (the Wiki has two articles about the series, here's the one about God's War, and here's the one about the whole of Season 1): I bought the Discotek Media release of the series and gave it a check, and can say that the English dub of God's War is on the Blu Ray, all three uncut episodes of it. We can count those ones as found.
As for the second article, things are a bit more complex: the Blu Ray has all 51 episodes (Season 1, 2 and God's War), but it's with the dialogue edited: in the third episode 0010 says "I'm your brother gone bad", instead of "I'm your brother from hell", and in the fourth 002 rants about not trusting his parents, rather than about not believing in God. So, if that's what you were looking for, that version is still missing.
On the other hand, the episodes are based on the original Japanese cut of the episodes, which means that the missing scene from the beginning of episode 19 (with the little comedic moment between 009, 003 and Gilmore) is now present at the beginning, fully dubbed in English. There are also another couple scenes that were missing from the version of episode 22 that was released in the Australian DVD from the early '00s, I guess because they might have been controversial (without getting into spoilers, as mild as they might be, in one 007 gets physically assaulted by two customers of 006's restaurant for saying he doesn't believe that what's been wrecking havoc is an actual god, and later 006 and 003 have a small argument due to a joke about religion), and because by that point the network wanted to pare down all episodes so they could be 20 or so minutes instead of 24 (episodes 23 to 25 start with some lenghty recaps of the previous parts of the arc, which were cut both in the tv broadcast and the R4 DVD release). So, half found, I guess?
For any other question just ask, and of course feel free to point out if I did anything wrong.
