Dan Zane's House Party was a show on the Playhouse Disney block which ran from 2005-2007. There are few clips left of the show online, and I am not sure if there were more songs/episodes in the show other than the ones on YouTube. Any help is appreciated in finding more information and media from this show!
I noticed most of the clips were posted by a user on YT know as jameshernandez45e 01, who seems to be semi active at least upload wise. Maybe someone could contact them asking about the show? Not sure
I still have a few contacts I never got around to contacting that worked at Disney at this time. I'll make a point of asking them about Dan Zane's House Party.
I did some quick googling and I found out that Dan Zane's House Party had only 4 episodes. I'm not sure if this is correct as the only source I had was Google knowledge panels. If you could give me the source you used to find when Dan Zane's House Party aired that would be a great help as I can't find any info so far. Wikipedia doesn't even list Dan Zane's House Party as some of the filmography/discography he starred in/worked on.
Here's some info I got from Dan's about page on his past music:
"In between tours, Zanes teaches guitar and ukulele on Sonic Junction, the leader in online instructional videos, has recently completed writing the songbook Dan Zanes’ House Party! A Family Roots Music Treasury for the Quarto Publishing Group, and listens obsessively to Haitian music." So Dan Zane's House Party was a songbook maybe? The next part confuses me even more
"DISCOGRAPHY
NIGHT TRAIN 57: A SENSORY FRIENDLY COMIC FOLK OPERA LEAD BELLY, BABY! 2017 GET LOOSE AND GET TOGETHER: THE BEST OF DAN ZANES 2014 TURN TURN TURN 2013 CHRISTMAS IN CONCORD 2011 LITTLE NUT TREE 2011 CONTRADANCE: MUSIC FROM THE PILOBOLUS DANCE PERFORMANCE 2011 76 TROMBONES 2009 THE WELCOME TABLE 2008 ¡NUEVA YORK! 2008 CATCH THAT TRAIN! 2006 PARADES AND PANORAMAS: 25 SONGS COLLECTED BY CARL SANDBURG FOR THE AMERICAN SONGBAG 2004 HOUSE PARTY 2003 SEA MUSIC 2002 NIGHT TIME! 2002 FAMILY DANCE 2001 ROCKET SHIP BEACH 2000" So 'house party' was an album of sorts he made in 2003? And 'Catch That Train!' (the name of an episode of Dan Zane's House Party (according to Google)) was made in 2006 which according to Google is also the year when it aired.
Overall, there just isn't a lot of information online about the show. If it weren't for the fact that it has been videotaped by jameshernandez45e 01 I'd even propose that it may not even exist.
I took a look at the video itself to get more info on the show itself and from the beginning we can tell a couple of things about the show itself - It aired often at 5:20am (on the 20th, 22nd and 24th of October) - The dates of the recordings completely contradict the dates Google gives me for the episodes. - The episodes themselves were <12 minutes long which means the clips posted by jameshernandez45e 01 are just segments of old episodes and not the actual episodes. We may not know what the rest of some of the episodes may be because they erased them.
There may be more than 4 episodes, in fact I'd propose there's more than 4 although we only know of 4 that currently exist. I will contact people who worked at Playhouse Disney at the time to see what info they can give us.
Could you send over a source for where does it say 4 episodes?
I used the Wikipedia page, will leave the quote from the page below: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dan_Zanes "In 2003, he played himself on Dragon Tales Let's Start a Band on TV film. The fourth album in the family series is House Party (2003), a rambunctious 20-song collection with a diverse instrumentation that, in addition to the usual guitars, banjos, upright bass and drums, includes such instruments as tuba, accordion, pump organ, djembe and saw. House Party was nominated for a Grammy in the Musical Album for Children category. Music video selections from the House Party album played during the Disney Channel's morning program suite known as Playhouse Disney from 2005–2007. New music video selections occasionally play on Nickelodeon's Noggin."
My next step might be to contact jameshernandez45e 01 via the YT comments of his videos, but he doesn't seem to be answering new comments
Yes I seen many contradictions for the airing dates. First 2005-2007 on Dan Zanes's wikipedia page, then 2006-2007 on the wikipedia page for list of Playhouse Disney shows, and then 2008 for the recording of Malti that is on YT. Would it be beneficial for me to upload the remaining clips in good or decent quality to the Internet Archieve?
EDIT: It seemed like the wiki page was taken down

They found the page where it says the show has 4 episodes from Google's Knowledge Panel, not sure where Google got the information from about there being 4 episodes though.
I looked at the Wikipedia for Playhouse Disney shows and it says that Dan Zanes House Party was an interstitial program. I looked for what an interstitial program was and Wikipedia gives me “ In television programming, an interstitial program (or wraparound program or wraparound segment) refers to a short program that is often shown between movies or other events, e.g. cast interviews after movies on premium channels. The term can also refer to a narrative bridge between segments within a program, such as the live action introductions to the animated segments in the Disney films Fantasia and Fantasia 2000, or the Simpson family's interludes during their annual Treehouse of Horror episodes.” TL;DR an interstitial program is a program that runs between things like movies. So Dan Zanes House Party may or may not be considered an actual show. Thing is though the recordings themselves are named “Dan Zanes House Party” and specify that they were recorded all at 5:20am which means that the show must’ve aired on a specified time slot so it can’t really be an interstitial program. I think at least. Just something of note.

Reminds me of Mike's super short show or miniscule. Back then they loved little 2 min bites because Disney didn't have ads for some reason. They would often have odd "premiere dates" because they would just be replayed at random

That would explain why OP from the previous thread assumed it was a bumper. Could it be that we are just missing some music videos tho? But which songs got videos other than the ones online right now?

Would it be a good idea to download the remaining videos from YT and upload them to the Internet Archieve?
EDIT: Maybe someone on here could also contact Dan Zanes via the pages from the 1st post on this thread about this? I don't use the social media platforms on those pages

I could try contacting him on one of those to see if he has any extra footage or just more info about the show.
