That's a shame to hear. Hope you didn't give any money away to said person
I did not. Person is not a good scammer XD Right after I asked for proof: Me: "But you would have to prove it. Many people have tried to scam me, and I can't let that happen. "
Him: "That's fine. Not trying to scam anyone.
I've been approached by one of the networks, so I'll go with them thanks."

@trycoconutoil did BlameItOnJorge's video accurately summarize the search and quote? If so, the first thing that stood out to me about the quote is that Fox News didn't exist until 1996.

I think that argument could be kinda weak though. Fox News could refer to the news broadcasts on Fox's main channel as well, not just their spinoff channel. It still raises questions to the likelihood of the quote being real, but it is a genuine possibility that if real, that is what he was referring to. Alternatively he could have mentioned some other right-wing news broadcaster or the like that was popular during the time, and faulty memories filled the blanks with Fox News, the current most popular right wing news source.

Nobody would have called it "Fox News" then. That particular phrase came from the 90s with the Fox News Channel.
Also, about the topic of the thread itself, what makes the Oprah 88 appearance more important than the 87 Donahue appearance, which is available on Youtube?

OP is looking for that specific clip of Trump saying the quote which is rumoured to be from the Oprah episode.

Well, considering the quote is fake (there was no "Fox News" then), it's really weird.
