So in the past I’ve expressed my desire for more channels on the Wii mode on my Wii U, but now after hearing about this open shop channel thing I realize this could be my way to get more Wii channels on my Wii U! Only problem, I can’t find a single thing online about it working or not working on the Wii U, really want to know if it will work on it so if you know the answer please tell me!

Homebrewing you can install whatever you like, they probably just installed their own store front on there.
