When I was in elementary school in the early 2000s, there was a book in the school library that always interested me. I checked it out at least once. As the title says, it was (from what I remember) only composed of detailed drawings. I remember one showing a room from the top of one of the corners, and it had a spider web. I think some showed skylines. I remember the book being about 2 feet tall, it was pretty big. I'm not confident about the cover, but I think it looked something like the covers for SimCity 3000 and SimCity 4. I don't remember the author/illustrator or publisher unfortunately. I'm not sure when the book may have been published. It could've been as early as the 80s. I hope someone knows about this book.
Was it an Anno book? They are very detailed and often have illustrations as seen from above. I couldn’t find one with “city” in the title, but there are many about specific countries. Here is an example: images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/61mn4dt7MdL._SX258_BO1,204,203,200_.jpg
The first link isn't working, but I feel like it is A City Through Time. It feels familiar to me. If so, thank you very much. Perhaps I should purchase it to see if it is the book.
