Hello, I've been trying to find a screamer video from my childhood for quite a while now and so far have been unsuccessful searching on YouTube.
Details from memory:
- Title was something along the lines of "master chief without helmet REAL" - Begins with a low quality rip of the first 12 seconds of the Starry Night trailer - I believe the screamer plays after the girl says, "Do you think we'll ever meet them?" - Screamer image is some kind of doll, possibly made of clay, of a demon or gargoyle with either red eyes or no eyes angrily facing the camera. No recall-able details aside from it having some focus blur and being very close to the camera.
I remember finding the video in 2008 and believe it had a high viewcount/easily searchable name, because I first watched it on my dad's work desktop, and then found it again on the Wii Browser channel to show my brother.
I've been off and on looking for it on YouTube and believe it's probably been deleted, a lot of the only ones to still be around to this day seem to be joke/fakeout videos.
i remember on wikipedia there used to be a page listing all major screamers featured on youtube (this was about 2008-2009) and this video was included, and iirc i remember there being a link attached, i wonder if going through the article on wayback would display a link to the video and i could check from there

If you can find & link that article that would be great!
Had a brief back and forth with apollo#4180 in the discord server, specifically regarding the wikipedia lead.
Internet screamers used to be its own article, but it got merged into Wikipedia's Jump Scare page. However, we were able to dig up the talk page of the former Internet Screamer page, as well as its revision history.
Unfortunately though, there is no such list of YouTube URLs currently listed under each.
I've also been made aware of two reddit posts that also talk about lost Halo screamers relating to Master Chief removing his helmet, but both don't seem to fit my description from memory.
I'm also recollecting a second screamer I haven't since been able to find about playing as a Brute enemy in online multiplayer, I remember less about it but there's a possibility I may have mixed up their images.

sorry for the late response! yes, this is the article i had found and remembered in question. it might have been because it was such a long time ago but i swear i could remember there being a video linked at some point. there seems to have been a lot of screamers related to this specific subject, i'm wondering if it could have possibly been reuploaded on another website like dailymotion? (vimeo possibly, though those types of videos don't normally get hosted on there) a lot of screamer related videos from the mid-late 2000s that originated on youtube seem to either be lost to time/taken down or replaced with joke versions since the format has fallen out of style over the years, though i know some older websites such as albinoblacksheep/newgrounds host a lot of them. unfortunately the second screamer does not seem to ring a bell but i also am wondering if there are any active (or archived) halo related forums that discuss these. i'm not too familiar w/ the franchise but my brother + his friend were really into halo 2 + 3 when they came out so i remember lots of discussion of master chief in general being a big deal from overhearing their conversations, if there are any off topic related threads these videos might have been discussed there
