what's with andy was a teletoon/abc family/jetix series that ran from 2001-2007 and was about a teenager named andy larkin who loved pranking other people and aspired to be the world's greatest prankster, and despite running for over half a decade and popularity (especially in europe) the show is still missing episodes in it's original english dub

75/78 of it's episodes are accounted for online but the english versions of the season 3 episodes heart of prankness and prank-watch are missing and only the first minute of master mom is available in english online (the recording itself lasts 6 minutes or so, but most of the audio is missing). while russian dubs of these episodes are available in full on youtube the english versions have yet to surface and are not listed on any website that has the series available for watching. there are no legal releases for this show in north america besides a few vhs tapes with season 1 episodes on them released around 2003, and all of it's european releases stop after the second season. however the third season is available on a german children's streaming app run by super rtl (which co-produced the third season) but there aren't any english audio tracks available.

it's possible these episodes have been recorded off of teletoon/overseas jetix channels with english audio tracks and are out there somewhere on the internet but as of now i've yet to find them, if anyone has any leads to where i can find the english dubs for these episodes or has access to them please let me know, thank you!!

thank you so much! another possible contact would be hg distribution, which currently has licencing rights to the series (and has had them for about 5 years now), i will try to contact them as well to see if they can possibly release this show on a streaming platform. there are some people i've come across while looking further into this who have run fansites for the show in the past, i can try to contact them to see if they have any recordings of these episodes.

unfortunately after checking reviews, both of these sites seem to be scams/do not ship out the dvds and i'm not currently at a place where i can take the risk of buying these, but i will bookmark these for the future, thank you for finding these nonetheless!!

in the us or overseas? i know that it aired on overseas fox kids channels, here in the states it was planned to air on our fox kids as well (according to a press release that i can no longer find) before it became a fox family/abc family exclusive (though it did air on toon disney for a short time in early 2005. they only ever aired the first season here)

on another note, once safe to do so i am planning to go up to canada for a while, i will check as many goodwill/value village stores as i can for possible vhs recordings. doing some research in the past few days, i found out that the third season aired in reruns on teletoon from 2007-september 2008 and again from november 2009-september 2010 so it will be a lot easier to look for recordings this way

along with the contact information for hg distribution (and its' ceo), i found a contact link for the ceo of cinégroupe last night but i'm debating whether or not i should email him as well since he's only in charge of productions, not necessarily distribution and legal releases

update since i have been away for a while doing various things....

-i sent an inquiry to tubi tv (platform that streams Lots of cancon, including teletoon series and at least one cinégroupe series, though hg distribution does Not have the rights to this series) requesting this show be added to their platform and got a generic automated "thank you for your interest, we will consider it for future additions" message back

-a close friend of mine who is involved with tape trading/lost media and also would like this series to become found media has sent out inquiries as well, he had contact with a very well known trader/archivist but hasn't been able to contact him recently (and those who have contacted him for unrelated reasons do not have recordings of this show, he alongside others are us-based). likewise a few of my canadian friends do not have recordings but will be on the lookout for any they come across (and i have somewhat-confirmation that despite being a teletoon original, they only had licensing rights to broadcast the show; they did not produce it, so asking teletoon/corus for assistance may not help, though it still is worth a shot)

-while looking at the hg distribution website the only person involved with direct distribution in kids media seems to be primarily focused on content distribution for western/central europe (alongside other content distributors...), hence me not knowing if asking for a north american release would do anything since thats not a region they deal with, regardless i could always try and ask and see if i get another lead. the ceo of cinégroupe *does* have a contact email but since he doesn't directly deal with distribution, i'm not sure if he could be able to help with a legal release (since the masters for these episodes Do exist and worst case scenario, no english recordings from teletoon/jetix surface)

necro'ing my thread just to say that encore+ (youtube channel funded by several canadian media companies that gets streaming rights for abandoned canadian ip's) has acquired the third season of what's with andy after a very, Very long time of playing the waiting game!! they're uploading one episode a week (this includes the french dub as well) and will eventually get to the three missing episodes but this show will soon become 100% found
