The 1984 Godzilla film, alternately called simply Godzilla, The Return Of Godzilla or Godzilla 1985 has finally been released to DVD and BD, the last G Film to do so, except for the most current one in Japan. It includes the Japanese dub, as well as the international English dub, but not the sometimes-infamous 1985 dub, the one with inserted American footage with Raymond Burr and one highly altered scene involving a Russian military officer. It's apparently a mix of rights issues and a general distaste for this cut. It's available online, and in boot, but it may be one of those outliers that never sees legit release. Not a great loss, unless you're a kaiju completionist like myself.
