So I have been looking for this for a while. I have this, or had this at least I may have accidentally recorded over it ;_;), on tape but I remember watching it like a religion on VHS as a kid. It was on the same tape as Tattertown Christmas, which is well documented in every inch of the internet but this...this is rare.
Cartoon Lost and Found.
Apparently some kind of a TV special or perhaps a pilot that was never picked up run on Nick at Nite in the early 1990's, featuring Adam West hosting segments wherein he feeds film reels into some kind of device which then shows the scatterbrained remains of old Boomer cartoons (no offense to Boomers, I'm a Gen Xer I get side-glances from Millennials all day too...) in the form of broken up partial segments. Various other characters pop in and out and frankly it was really fun. Me and my grandmother, rest her soul, would watch it all the time when I was a youngling and both she and my mom remembered the varied cartoons on it. However despite looking, so far all I could find was this...
This is part of it, I have no exact memory of how long Cartoon Lost and Found was so I assume it to be at least half, probably one-third, but there is no part two. IMBD has literally NO LISTING of this special, not even on Adam West's filmography as far as I can see. I looked through, specifically searching 1985 to 1999, and saw NOTHING. So as far as I know that YT video is literally all that remains. It is possible that I may have a copy on VHS but it would take a lifetime to find due to the sheer number of VHS tapes I have, but so far this counts as Partially Found media. I've saved that video on my laptop btw.
So what do we do with this? Should a page be made on it? We have a page on Chip and Pepper's Cartoon Madness and King K. Rool's Kool Kartoons so why not lol
