Pls stop being mean to me

Thanks, i was searching for a tv rip of an anime and in the LMW discord server, they would try to get a rise out of me. the admins hate me, and then my articles i worked my butt off on researching on my own where deleted. its been hard

I would just like to set the record straight. This person has been bugging everyone in the server about looking for the TV rip of a certain anime for weeks. We told her multiple times that the "differences" in the TV rip are not significant enough to qualify for an article. She wrote one anyways. Subject eligibility aside, the article itself did not meet our quality guidelines. We deleted it, and with no hesitation she reposted an even more broken version of it, so we deleted it again and gave her a 3 day block on the wiki. She then came back to the discord to yell at everyone for deleting her article, throwing insults, with the discord status "#STOPLMW", so she was banned from the server and her block was extended on the wiki.

That's about all I have to say about that.

Okay, so a few things.

I'm not usually one to make these kind of posts, but there's definitely a few things to be said about this thread, and what's been going on in the Discord server, especially for those of you more active on the forums.

The direct cause of this thread was Brittany being kicked and subsequently banned from the Discord after she made an attempt of making an article for the Tegami Bachi TV Rips. The thing about these stated rips is that they have no difference from the release on Hidive aside from the channel watermark, and as such do not qualify for an article. If they did qualify for an article, it would have still been deleted for many reasons such as improper formatting of the body and title, no preview image, no references, and most importantly, no notable significance. When you make an article on the wiki, there's a page before you start working on the article where you input the name of the page you wish to create. On this page is an extensive outline as to what and what not to do when creating your page, and since the article failed to meet the standards of the wiki highlighted there, it was deleted with a note as to where improvements needed to be made.

The next day, Brittany recreated said page with virtually no improvements as well as ignoring the note outlining one of the many reasons for deletion. Upon having her article deleted, she set her Discord status as #STOPLMW, and started insulting and harassing multiple users in the server, none of them having a part in the article's deletion. The qualm was between her and staff, and nobody else, and could've been resolved in a more mature fashion, but unfortunately led to her kick and subsequent ban.

Before this, Brittany has had a series of incidents that didn't necessarily break any rules, but have caused frustration with the mod team including making a scene when asked for her age upon joining (as it is a requirement by both the server's and Discord's rules that nobody under the age of 13 is allowed to join) after seemingly dodging the question for a notable amount of time, pinging random users for help with projects without notable prompt, misusing the server's text channels which individually have a set topic (#gaming, #lost-media, #obscure-media as examples), directly going against the advice of the mods and admins multiple times, spamming images in the middle of active conversation, harassing users to the point of bending to her wants with no thanks given, linking torrents (against the rules regarding piracy), bringing drama from another server with barebones linkage to us into the text channels (which by the way conveniently excluded the reason for her ban and include many falsehoods), and lastly, while he stated himself that he had no issues with it, mass pinging blameitonjorge and even impersonating him at one point.

This was not a one-off decision. Rather it was a constant buildup that just now stepped over the line. Nobody in the server was attempting to get a rise out of her, but were justifiably annoyed by her decisions and actions. We have tried mutliple times to explain there is no difference in the Tegami Bachi TV Rips aside from a watermark, but she has ignored everyone telling her such. On top of that she has pinged random people to help her with a website recreation rather than ask for general assistance which would have likely attracted experienced individuals without inconveniencing anybody. As such, we had no issues with her projects, but rather the way in which she handled them. 

We have outlined time and time again where improvement needed to be made in all factors of her involvement in the community such as her articles, general demeanor, and aforementioned projects, yet hardly any of this was taken. We have given more than enough chances to her as is. Nobody "hates" her so much as they wish she'd be more sensible regarding what she does. All in all, the full picture wasn't painted in this thread and it's important to frame everything in order to move forward.

That is 100% right... I guess we all have our weird reasons for being here. The biggest draws seem to be scary children's things, the odd & quirky and stuff that is being withheld from the public intentionally.
