Hi LostMediaWiki, I've had interest in lost media for a while but due to my following of major brands i havent been able to contribute, unfortunately. But I come here today humbly requesting your help. When I was maybe 7,8 or 9, i spent alot of my time playing browser games on my family's computer. we weren't so rich then so we only had a computer that could run browser games. I spent ages playing various games, a few of which I still do, but one alludes me.
I must have played the game around a year or so after the wii came out, so around october/november of 2007, when i was 6. The game was about being a Fisherman on an island, where you catch fish for your sushi restaurant . The objective of the game was to get your restaurant to five stars, or so I recall.
For reference, here's a quick sketch of what i remember the setup being like, it's generally accurate except for a few things- 1-the game was pixelated- like what people call "pixelart" today, that was the art style. 2- you couldnt see the whole map, you could only see a small box around your character.
Sites I remember frequenting in my childhood incluse freewebarcade.com, ninjakiwi and miniclip. The name notdoppler comes to mind but i never played games there, they just popped up on almost every game i played.
Any and all information you might have is appreciated, to chat personally email me on 71gateway71@gmail.com
I spent a lot of time on Ninjakiwi around that time, wasn't the game called "Sushi King" or something along those lines? I can't recall it having a pixel art style, but more a cartoonish style. But for all I know we're talking about completely different games.
It may well have been cartoonish rather than pixel-ly, but if anything i remember the art style being simple if anything. The reason i havent bothering doing base level internet research is due to the surge of popularity of sushi in western culture in the last few years, google searching will confirm this.

I'm going to look around on Miniclip and Ninjakiwi this weekend... Do you know what year you played it in?
I use Chrome so I can't play it RN, but I'm installing firefox. Feel free to check it out and see if it matches the game you described while it installs.
EDIT: Okay, that game is most likely the one you were talking about. But rather than feeding a restaurant you feed yourself? But it's the only one I could find on Miniclip with the artstyle you described.
