I also reuploaded the currently found Vol 2 Episode on my YouTube with Community Contributions turned on (https://youtu.be/XXxwi8Tiews) to hopefully get a fan translation made. I posted a request on r/translator to see if anyone would be interested in translating the episode. I'll update you guys if anyone agrees to translate it.

Awesome! I'm excited to see them finally get put online. Though I was curious, would it be possible to upload the original DVD .vob files as well to a place like mega.nz? Just to keep it preserved in the highest possible quality. In any case, I am beyond excited to see that these are no longer gonna be lost media.

So sorry for the lack of updates! Everything is going well, my friend who's been translating these episodes is finished with Episode 1, and is currently working on Episode 2. Episodes 2 and 3 are the longest though, and combined they're around the length of a typical 22 minute anime episode. My friend is currently doing this out of their free time, and although I do intend to pay them, I don't want to overwhelm them with requests to finish subbing these episodes, as they don't get a lot of free time off from their job. Sorry that progress has been slow, but if you have any questions regarding the episodes, feel free to ask!

It’s being translated solely by ear! Thankfully the audio is very clear, I couldn’t imagine how hard it would be if there was music overlaid on top of the audio!!

Also, just a quick update: Episode 2 is finished!!! Only one more episode to go!

I was also gonna also ask if you had plans to upload the original .vobs of the shorts you got from the DVD, to preserve them in the highest quality. Just curious. In any case, thanks so much for finding the missing shorts, this is really fantastic!
