It recently occurred to me that, although numerous fan-made reproductions exist, there does not appear to be an original audio recording of the infamous New Orleans National Weather Service bulletin for Hurricane Katrina in existence. link
Given the mass evacuations taking place while the region was awaiting the hurricane, it doesn't come as a surprise that no one would have bothered recording it at the time. Does anyone know if it might have appeared elsewhere (news coverage of the event or storm tracking footage)?
