I honestly am not sure myself. We have given away a lot of VHS tapes, but I think most of them were baby shows like Blue's Clues, Barney, etc, all of which are archived and available. I will go through vhs tapes soon and see what I can find. Unfortunately, our only working VCR isn't hooked up to the tv and I'll have to get my dad to help. I have no capture card, however I got an old camera that I can drag out and film the tv with, then upload the files to my computer.
Blue's Clues and Barney aren't baby shows, they're pre-school shows, If you're referring to Baby Shows, I'll say you're talking about BabyTV or Baby First TV.
Its workprint footage actually after looking back at it. So what it is is the 13 broadcast episodes and 3 workprint episodes. I don't know if they are any different from whatever broadcast episodes as I have not watched every episode from start to finish, but I would assume there's some differences. I got this set from a trade back in the early days of grey market tape and dvd trading online (probably like 2002 or 03)
"workprint episodes" So could this mean that there was supposed to be a 2nd season, possibly in 1994 for syndication, but either never aired at all, or only aired in like, 2 low-tier regions where barely anybody lives in?
Possible, but I highly doubt it. Theres no intro present on them as that had obviously already been filmed and there was no reason to add it as of yet, one of the "episodes" is just time-coded live action footage from episode 1 without the animation present

Oh, I can definitely see the live-action footage being separate. They probably had to combine 2 workprints together to make a "full" workprint beforehand, but found a very useful method to make it just go seamlessly so they can put them on one single workprint.
Dreams are boundless, imaginations are infinite, space is a multi-directional spiral & Akazukin ChaCha is my favorite anime
I used to (or maybe even still) have a DVD with one of the Alvin and the Chipmunks Christmas special on it. I don't know if it's exactly "lost" since there's information about it online, but you can't watch it anywhere. Amazon has some privacy agreement with the creators so you can't actually view the movie and I haven't been able to find it anywhere else. In this particular episode, Alvin gives his harmonica to a sick kid who really wants one and then talks about how he needs money to go buy himself a new one. Eventually a woman buys it for him because she sees the good in his heart because he gave up something he wanted to help someone else.
I also have that episode... I got the Holiday collection box... Didn't know it was that rare...

Used to have that one on tape, I had no idea it was rare either.
I looked on TV Vault and they actually have that particular special and it's been on there for over a decade, so i'll see about downloading and uploading it onto archive.org.
I also found out there's apparently one episode of the original Chipmunks series that is still missing in English-Princess and the Pig, an Italian version was found only last year so if anyone has any English broadcasts of that episode that would be great.

Just uploaded it on Archive.org for anyone who's interested:link
I found a lost short of this show with the original audio intact. What do you guys think of it?
Awesome! I haven't seen that short since it was featured in Cartoon Network's 50 Greatest Cartoons marathon in the late 90s, remember watching the whole thing with my mom and sister while we were on vacation, good times.

That's real easy, just use something like Y2Mate to rip the Youtube video and then click upload and when you get to the screen that says "choose files to upload" just drag and drop the downloaded YT vid and there you go.

as someone who has been painstakingly trying to get that show complete in the highest quality possible, it's not lost, and actually not THAT rare to be more precise, it's available as a bonus cartoon on some old official Cartoon Network vhs tapes from the '90s.
