I found the opening to season 1 of Hidamari Sketch on YouTube, and it's shown in 3:4 quality. This was back in early 2007, when TVs were still making the transition to 16:9 format. Season 1 was the only one made in that format.
Thinking it was the perfect cute girl show to put on VHS, I searched the Internet to find the 3:4 version to download, but alas, I came across nothing besides the opening sequence, since unsurprisingly, the widescreen version was more popular than the fullscreen one.
Seeing as there are clips fansubbed out there though, I know the episodes still exist somewhere on the Internet, probably deep, deep down there. Or maybe they're lost forever. Who knows.
Anyone know if they're out there and where to look without getting viruses on my computer? Or does anyone have them stored on an old hard drive somewhere? The help would be appreciated.
