Other than dialogue and a few promotional pictures, the original ending to the 1983 film "National Lampoon's Vacation" has been released neither officially nor unofficially. The only ones outside the industry known to have seen it were people present at a test screening for it. Apparently, it was not well received. The ending was re-shot, and is the one we have all come to know. I wish this would come out already along with deleted scenes known to have been filmed, but again only promotional pictures and dialogue exist for those too. What a shame...
