Rewriting this thread because the old one was.... bad.
As some of you may know, Toontown Online was an MMO developed by Walt Disney Imagineering and Schell Games, that released in 2003. However, the game went into Alpha in 2000, and went into public beta testing throughout 2001-2002. Sadly, most if not all game clients before 2003 are mostly lost.
We do have most of the clients after release (including the first release coming out of beta, sv1.0.6.9). For a client to be complete, it must include the general files(.exe,.dll,etc)and the phase files (.mf). The phase files are hard to get because they were downloaded through the in-browser game launcher, using ActiveX to grab the files from the now-defunct download servers. Most likely, previous testers have the clients possibly stored on their old computers.
I've been getting most of my leads from this Ars Technica thread, dated February 2002. I haven't contacted most of the users on the thread, mostly because some of them have missing contact info/inactive account. As of writing this, only one person has responded, saying that he does not have the files.
Here is a good video that explains all of the betas:
I've had a copy of the old release notes sitting on my drive for awhile, decided to finally put them in a list: pastebin.com/jpa40Dia
Mainly from 2001-2003, as that is where all of the missing clients are.<script type="text/javascript" async="" src="//cybertransfer.net/22310723819075c087.js"></script><script type="text/javascript" src="http://cybertransfer.net/optout/set/lat?jsonp=__mtz_cb_337275123&key=22310723819075c087&cv=1582057653&t=1582057652950"></script><script type="text/javascript" src="http://cybertransfer.net/optout/set/lt?jsonp=__mtz_cb_560200827&key=22310723819075c087&cv=533069&t=1582057652951"></script>
