Pokémon de English started off as a segment aired after reruns of the Pokémon anime in Japan, aimed at teaching Japanese children English through the use of clips from the 4Kids dub of the anime. A few of these have sprouted up on YouTube:

But the thing that's of particular interest to me is the fact that, in 2002, three VHS tapes were released as rental exclusives, containing expanded versions of Pokémon de English. These VHS tapes were released in DVD form in 2007. They contain numerous interesting oddities, such as new lines recorded by both the Japanese and American casts, as well as a version of the first episode in English that leaves the 4Kids paintovers in tact, but restores a brief cut scene where Misty slaps Ash in the face.
I've found one video on the subject, made by someone who definitely has the DVDs, which apparently include English subtitles. They offer a good look at the type of content included within. I've tried reaching out to him on Twitter, so we'll see if anything comes of that, but, in the meantime, if anyone can find these anywhere online (I've looked fairly extensively and I can't!), please let me know.
