So I was talking to my friend about Jakers. He then brought up something so bizarre that I want it to be found. He recalls watching a Parental Controls guide that went along the lines of this.
It began with the Jakers theme song. Then the music abruptly faded out into soft piano music as a female announcer said "Parental Controls." the announcer was saying something along the lines of "Using these simple steps and tools, you can now free your children from these accidental horrors."
So, what's so bizarre about this?
Around the part in the theme where the black duck was riding the poorly made car, it slam cut to the TV Guide with the footage still playing on the top right corner. The Guide itself? Supposedly, every single show was Jakers. Even on different networks.
Friend says this is all he can remember. we're laughing about it and we both hope somebody has it recorded somewhere. it's possible this was done to other shows on Comcast as well.
