There's one song that's been bothering me for awhile. It's a song I heard on the radio some years back. it was an upbeat acoustic rock song. Possibly with ties to folk or indie as well. The singer was male and had an almost falsetto voice. Because of the feel of the song it could have been in the 70s or even 2000s it's hard to say. The only thing I can remember from the song is the chorus, which is both distinct yet sadly hard to search... The lyrics went something like "You And I, eye-eye-eye-eye-eye" I don't know the exact chords but I think the eye's go from major to minor chords and down a scale each. I'm not too knowledgeable on notes so I could be butchering it but does anyone have any idea what I'm talking about? The eye-eye-eye's were like the main hook of the song. This song's been stuck in my head for a few years now!

Nope It's not it. The tempo was faster and more acoustic sounding. Like Barenaked Ladies-esq if its from the 90s. Or folksy alt rock like Grapes Of Wrath

Just wondering but what time did it air on the radio? And what's the radio station?
I heard it back in the mid to late 2000s on the local radio station Peace Fm. It might be local but I always thought it was a famous song. It was well produced and played quite a bit.
Update: After a long search and lots of help from locals I was able to identify the song it is a local song and it was so rare even the guy who sang it didn't have a copy and hadn't heard it in 20 years! Thankfully, the local radio station had a copy still and sent me one. With permission from the singer, I uploaded it onto YouTube. Quite the story! After like 15 years I was finally able to hear it again and was able to share it with the singer! youtu.be/wl18nHntKW8
