For the longest time I have been trying to remember the name of this. It was definitely a Fox kids UK short that ran between programmes and during breaks somewhere between the mid 90's to early 00's before it was Fox Kids rebranded to Jetix.
I cannot remember much about it other than it was animated and there being three characters, a girl, a boy (possibly her brother?) a spitting monkey. It was almost like gross out because I can kinda remember the kids being grossed out and I think it was set in their bedroom?
I have tried searching for it but the only thing that comes up for spitting monkey is a British 80's show called Pob that ran on Channel 4 but it is definitely not that.
Any help would be appreciated it has been driving me nuts for years.

I know this thread's a bit old, but I was also looking for this cartoon and this particular post was the only possible mention of it I could find online. No one I asked knew what I was talking about, so this post was the one thing attesting I wasn't going crazy. Gonna leave an answer here in case OP happens to see it or in case anyone finds it the same way I did.
Anyway, apparently this was a Fox Kids UK production that started airing in 2001. I'm Brazilian and I remember seeing it on Jetix around 2005; the Fox Kids Latinoamerica official FB page made two more or less recent posts about it, here and here.
There are a few other mentions to it here and there, and the IMDB page actually has a lot of credits for it, but all the info I could find about this cartoon amounts to this. Before I found the name of show I went through hours of Fox Kids and Jetix commercial breaks I could find on youtube, but I haven't found anything. Couldn't find a single image of the other characters or anything about the actual content of the show besides the basic premise of a monkey that spits living with a boy and a girl, and obviously couldn't find any actual footage of the show. I might get back to those commercial breaks now that I have dates, plus confirmation that it aired in Latin America, but I'm not holding my breath.
Holy hell thankyou so much for your response! Like you I went looking for the show and combed through a ton of YT videos but there seems to be no remaining footage of the show.
I have contacted Dusan Lazarevic the creator of the show to find if he knows if there is any recordings of the show but this may be fruitless.
