Alfred J. Kwak is a show I enjoyed a lot as a kid.
When I grew up, I discovered it was actually animated in Japan and because of that it is even classified as anime on all anime sites even if creator of characters is Dutch.
One of the things I quickly discovered is that Japanese dub was never released on any home media. Anime had only two broadcasts on TV Tokyo and that was about it.
In 2008, someone uploaded full Japanese dub on YouTube which were TV rips from TV Tokyo. This was something I sadly did not know back then or else I would have saved it.
By the time I learnt about this it was too late because videos were taken down and in 2009 in Japan, new law was passed that could sentence someone to even 10 years for unauthorized uploads of content they do not own rights to.
I know this is 100% true because I was contacted few years ago by a person who seems to have managed to save 32 episodes out of 52 episodes that were uploaded on YouTube which confirms existence of TV rips was real.
As of 2019, I did archive those episodes but I am still actively searching for remaining 20. All I know is that someone out there in Japan does have all of them recorded.
Since this show was animated in Japan and even the main character is voiced by popular voice actress Megumi Hayashibara, I think it deserves to be found.
One person I would love to contact somehow is anyone from now-disbanded Hari-No-Ito fansub group because back in 2008 when all episodes were posted on YouTube in Japanese they fansubbed first 6 of them. There is chance they might have already downloaded all episodes in raw.
I tried emailing them on old email they used but sadly its no longer working.
Either way, I have created this thread in hopes someone is also interested in helping finding remaining 20 episodes because their existence is confirmed and someone out there does have them.
